Coin Strike: How To Read Waves Before They Hit
After a week with Coin Strike I stopped losing to the early waves, and the reason was simple: I started reading the board before the wave, not during it. The game gives you a short pause between rounds, and that pause is where the match is actually decided.
My first real lesson was to under-build on wave one. It's tempting to drop defenders everywhere, but you want a point surplus going into wave three, when the mixed enemy lines start. Hold back, place two solid units on the main lane, and let your points grow.
Upgrades beat quantity more often than you'd expect in Coin Strike. A single fully upgraded defender on a choke point stops more than three cheap ones scattered around. Once I understood that, split-lane maps got a lot calmer.
Last tip: learn the enemy silhouettes. Coin Strike makes each type look distinct for a reason, and reacting on sight means you spend your pause planning instead of squinting. Do that, and the later maps feel fair instead of punishing.
