Nitro Crosslines
★★★★☆ 4.1
Nitro Crosslines is all about momentum. The tracks are short enough that you'll happily rerun one five times to shave off a second. Drifting is forgiving, which I appreciate on a touchscreen where precision is always a little compromised.
There's a light upgrade system for your cars, but the real draw is the handling. Each vehicle feels different, and finding one that clicks with your style is half the fun. Controls default to tilt but you can switch to buttons, which I did immediately and never regretted.
It won't replace a serious sim, and it doesn't try to. This is a quick-fix racer for waiting rooms and lunch breaks, and it nails that brief.
