Hollowtide Run

Hollowtide Run is a side-scrolling adventure that leans on exploration over combat. You climb, swim, and solve little environmental puzzles across ruins that slowly reveal a bigger story. The art does a lot of heavy lifting and it's lovely to look at.

Movement is responsive, which matters because some sections demand precise jumps. The game drip-feeds abilities that reopen earlier areas, so backtracking actually feels rewarding rather than like busywork. I kept finding hidden rooms I'd walked past twice.

It's not a long game, but it's paced so well that it never overstays its welcome. A gentle, atmospheric pick for anyone who likes discovery.
